It’s library day and Mrs. Barker would love to take her class for a visit, but it will take some creative thinking and imagination to persuade a distracted student named Alyssa to get with the program. When Mrs. Barker reminds the class there will be dinosaurs in the library, everyone, including Alyssa, is eager to go. Boy, are they surprised (and a little frightened) when the library transforms into a Jurassic playground. There Are Dinosaurs in the Library! is for readers age 4 to 10.

“This cute storybook is a great way to introduce children to the wonders of reading, much as the teacher in the story does for the skeptical Alyssa. Reading truly is full of magic and wonder, as she soon discovers. The illustrations by Octavio Cordova fit perfectly with the story and provide some extra fun for little readers.”

"A. G. Allen has created a story that you cannot help but enjoy. I liked it from the beginning, and when I finished it, I wanted to re-read it immediately. I recommend this educational picture book to all readers who enjoy fantasy stories, especially if they are children who do not like going to the library."
Kirkus Reviews
"Cordova’s full-color illustrations are lively
and vibrant; even the dinosaurs’ faces are expressive. An appealing story for
dinophiles and library skeptics."

"Allen’s story is fun to share at home, as part of a library story time, or in the classroom. Elementary language arts teachers can use this book as a springboard for a unit on storytelling, encouraging readers to imagine and then draw or write what might happen during Mrs. Barker’s next library day—or, perhaps, a day in their own library.
Highly recommended."

"My three-year old is really into the Dinosaur phase right now. She loved that there were a bunch of dinosaurs she already knew the names of and a few new ones to spot as well! The graphics in this book are so bright
and kept her attention perfectly!
